Resolution:

  • configure the antivirus software to exclude the %systemroot%\System32\DHCP folder when it scans the computer
  • go to c:\WINDOWS\System32\DHCP > Properties > Advanced > uncheck [For fast searching, allow Indexing Service to index the folder]

Resolution:

  • Go to: Computer Management > Services > Stop [Indexing Service]
  • Manually delete: System Volume Information > catalog.wci
  • Go to: Computer Management > Services > Start [Indexing Service]
  • Restart the machine
