Intel Core i3 1’st genereation vs Pentium G600 / G800 series Monday, 24 December 2012

Maybe this will seem a strange comparison but will point out the performance differences between processor generations, desktop and laptop processor series and the price/performance evolution over time. Anyway the primary point is to compare price to perfomance, mainly for office stations to evaluate if worth upgrading from Intel first processor generation to the last one. Thats why we have three diferent series, mobile vs. desktop in a hand and desktop high-price Core i3 series vs. desktop low-price G series on the other hand.
